Enscape Impact: Real-time insights for sustainable design

Enscape Impact: Real-time insights for sustainable design

Enscape Impact, developed in partnership with global climate tech company IES, is a brand-new add-on designed to seamlessly integrate real-time rendering with building performance metrics. It empowers you to optimise building performance and sustainability directly within your workflow to enhance your creative vision.

Benefits of using Enscape Impact

  • Easy integration: With a shallow learning curve, Enscape Impact enables you to prepare and run a dynamic simulation effortlessly, even without extensive training.
  • Data-driven decision making: Fast energy analysis provides immediate insights into building performance impact, facilitating quicker decision-making.
  • Increased productivity: Through a shorter and quicker feedback loop and efficient early-stage design corrections, carbon emissions, and project timelines can be reduced, as can design costs.
  • Enhanced communication: Designed to help architects and engineers communicate effectively, ensuring designs are both sustainable and more efficient.

Revolutionising building energy modelling

Buildings account for almost 40% of global energy-related carbon emissions. Forecast your building’s energy consumption and assess the key-performance metrics of your building, with fast and easy energy modelling simulations.

Enscape Impact allows you to perform early-stage design optimisation and shortens the feedback loop, leading to buildings which are more energy efficient and cost-effective to build.

You can adjust your design, and analyse a building's performance without leaving your design environment, giving you immediate feedback on Peak Loads, Total Operational Carbon Emissions, Energy End Use, Energy Use Intensity, and more.

Unlike standalone building analysis tools or traditional CAD software without integrated analytics, Enscape Impact lets you make data-driven decisions quickly, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional quality of buildings while ensuring cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency.

Key features of Enscape Impact

Enscape Impact offers the following features for a seamless, intuitive experience:

Real-time energy modelling simulation: Quickly calculate and evaluate key metrics as you design. See the data manifested within the render, making it easier to comprehend and communicate the impact of design decisions.

Integrated workflow: Perform analysis directly within your workflow to determine the energy efficiency and sustainability of designs early in the process. Enscape Impact directly integrates with most popular CAD and BIM tools, allowing you to maintain creative flow without interruption.

Minimal data entry: Establish a baseline analysis with only a few data points, including location and building type, to access fast and actionable insights.

Dials panel: Showcase the energy performance of your building design with easy-to-read charts and diagrams that intuitively display how geometry adjustments impact performance. Comprehensive tooltips provide easy-to-understand guidance for beginners in building performance concepts.
