Enscape 4.2 introduces you host application-specific features for tighter integration with design applications. This assortment of updates strengthens Enscape's most significant advantage—its seamless integration with the host application, allowing users to work faster and more precisely than ever.

The release also includes the commercial launch of Enscape Impact, a brand-new add-on (purchased separately) designed to integrate real-time rendering with building performance metrics. Enscape users were given the chance to test the beta version in Enscape 4.1. 

Enscape Impact - what is it?

Impact is the building performance add-on that empowers your workflow, making your ideas sustainable from the start and works within the Enscape core product. 

Enscape Impact, developed in partnership with global climate tech company IES, is a brand-new add-on designed to seamlessly integrate real-time rendering with building performance metrics. It empowers you to optimise building performance and sustainability directly within your workflow to enhance your creative vision.
Impact is compatible with Enscape 4.1 and Enscape 4.2 and currently available for Enscape's windows users. MacOS version is expected in the near future.

 

Revit Graphics Override

Revit Graphics Override - ensures Enscape reflects the same object appearances and overrides used in Revit, enhancing workflow and presentation accuracy.

Support for WCS Mapping in Rhino

Support for WCS Mapping in Rhino - allows you to utilise World Coordinate System (WCS) mapping for materials, ensuring real-world scale and accuracy.

Software ray-tracing improvements

Software Ray Tracing GI & Sunshadows Improvements - enhances rendering quality on machines without hardware ray tracing, especially benefiting Mac users and those with integrated graphics (iGPU).
